Reliability performances of BHLS
Synthesis of the 3 italien Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs)
In March 2009, the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, in Italy has been funded by the COST office for 3 STSMs (Short Term Scientific Missions) on the same subject "Transit Reliability performances" in 3 different BHLS into service.
Three students have been concerned, one went in Paris, one went in Madrid, one went in Manchester.
Below, the presentation of their results, made the 19th September 2009 during a WG2 meeting held at this university.

The conclusion in short:
- All the companies are collecting a lot of data.
- Just a few of companies are utilizing the data collected to optimize the service (above all in term of reliability).
- The system applied to TVM route and developed by RATP, is the most reliable and should be used as model.
