This publication is a compilation of recent international experience directed especially to practitioners in less-wealthy countries but hopefully also of relevance to other colleagues in the BRT world. It addresses specific concerns that have caused many BRT systems to fall short of their potential to serve all categories of passengers. A Spanish version is in preparation_
This guide complements the "Bus Rapid Transit Accessibility Guidelines," a more general guide published in 2007. The attached publication is based on this earlier compilation and is available along with other materials in our field at http://go.worldbank.org/MQUMJCL1W1.
