This article (presented in a conference in Stuttgart - 2010), after a short presentation of the COST research program and a brief definition of BHLS, is divided into three parts: a state of the art in the field of methods and indicators for performance evaluation of public transport services and the reliability’s indicators, an approach proposal for the evaluation of reliability services, some results of an experience carried out from some European BHLS lines.
